Life Chapter: Finding Balance

Hey all,

I just finished my first week at the new job, and by the time you read this, let’s hope I’m still working there, haha. I think I’ll be fine though. The job is actually great, just a lot to learn. That’s one of the reasons I made a few blogs in advance. I’ll probably keep doing that for a while since work is taking a lot of my mental energy right now.

I’ve had to take a small step back from drawing and studying for now, since my brain feels pretty overloaded with all the new information. I tried to push through, but it’s honestly too much at the moment. So I’m giving myself permission to slow down a bit, to focus on adjusting and letting things settle. I still draw and study, but only in small amounts, enough to keep the spark alive without burning out.

I wanted to make this short blog as a little update, and also to talk about the direction I want to take things from here. I’m not planning a strict rotation or schedule, just a natural flow. Some posts will be more reflective, others more creative, depending on what’s happening in my life and what I feel like sharing.

I’ll also be adding a new page soon, probably called Art Progress or something similar. Over time, I’d like this website to slowly evolve into more of a portfolio. Some content might disappear as I refine it, but that’s all part of the process.

From now on, I’ll be naming my posts as:
Life Chapter: title of blog
Art Chapter: title of blog
Reflection Chapter: title of blog

It just feels right. My life has always moved in chapters, and each post marks a step forward, whether it’s something I’m learning, creating, or simply feeling. Writing these helps me track not just what I’m doing, but who I’m becoming.

If I ever reach a point where I have more readers, I’ll definitely keep blogging. If not, that’s okay too. This space will grow and change as I do. For now, I’m simply learning to balance work, creativity, and rest, to move forward at my own pace.

See you in the next one.
