Art Chapter: Drawing Again P4

Finally back at drawing. It took me a minute to finally draw again.

I worked on some shapes for the blacksmith. I am going to keep working on some sketches to find the right shapes. I want to make something a bit funky, very fantasy-like, oddly shaped buildings with different shapes.

I think this project might take me a while, but that’s okay. Next stop is making a Pinterest folder with colors scheme and find more shapes I like before doing the final rough sketches. Then I’ll start looking for small details I can add to the drawing to make it more alive.

Design for one of the tower

When I have the concept down, I’ll probably use Blender to have a rough 3D layout and see how it looks in 3D space, to see if it makes sense. I want to try to imagine what purpose each room would be used for, with the emphasis on the smithy, of course. Then the second important details are the sword and the secret mine.

Even if it’s not perfect, I want to have a good idea when I come back to this later.

So today, just rough sketches for the blacksmith.
